Creating the future by inspiring the moment.
Together we develop sociable, articulate, responsible, caring children with a tolerance, understanding and respect for each other and their community.
Our Growing Places approach is inspired by the values of the Reggio Emilia nurseries and pre-schools in Italy. This is an inspirational approach that builds a culture that respects childhood and allows each child to have daily opportunities to play, explore, discover, communicate and develop tolerant, understanding relationships.
Bringing together, children, parents and staff in a journey of education.
We currently have six Nursery settings, all registered with Ofsted, providing nursery and holiday club provision for children aged up to, and including, 11 years of age, within the boroughs of Portsmouth, Havant and Fareham.
Parent Zone
We accept all government funding, tax-free childcare and childcare vouchers.
For further information, handy hints & tips as well as useful links please visit the parent zone.
We provide a range of opportunities to encourage children to explore, think for themselves, find solutions and know that it is ok to make mistakes.
In doing so, we build children’s resilience, self-esteem and self-belief, encouraging positive attitudes to future learning.
We believe them to be born curious, capable and competent learners. Our knowledgeable and highly educated Educators and Playworkers’ facilitate these deep learning opportunities with a secure knowledge of child development theory in practice.
Holiday Club
We offer a holiday club for children from 5-11 years, at our outdoor facility in Wickham. Where children can run, climb, and experience the freedom of the great outdoors through the seasons. With donkeys, goats, sheep, chickens and ducks that they can help nurture and care for.
Little Acorns is a special place for all to experience!
We are registered with Hampshire County Council for the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme. When funding is available we have limited free spaces for those families that qualify.
